Following the 2020 elections, Prophet Badu Kobi boldly declared that the elections were rigged by the NPP and continued to proclaim that John Dramani Mahama would return to power in 2024. His unwavering stance attracted heavy criticism and attacks from some members of the NPP, especially when he openly criticized President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for acts of corruption.
