HON. ELVIS AFRIYIE ANKRAH PAID A COURTESY VISIT TO PROPHET EMMANUEL BADU KOBI




 Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, paid a courtesy visit to Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, the founder and leader of Glorious Wave Church International.


Following the 2020 elections, Prophet Badu Kobi boldly declared that the elections were rigged by the NPP and continued to proclaim that John Dramani Mahama would return to power in 2024. His unwavering stance attracted heavy criticism and attacks from some members of the NPP, especially when he openly criticized President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for acts of corruption. These criticisms adversely affected his church and business, yet he remained resolute in his declarations.





On behalf of H. E. President Mahama, Hon. Afriyie-Ankrah thanked Prophet Badu Kobi for allowing God to use him as a vessel, and for standing firm despite threats, intimidations, and insults from NPP members. He acknowledged the challenges the pastor faced and assured him that God would richly reward and bless him. He encouraged Prophet Badu Kobi, saying that whatever he had lost, the Lord would restore it a thousandfold. He expressed confidence that God would reward him abundantly and restore him in every area of his life.



The visit is a testament to President Mahama’s commitment to appreciating those who have supported him, as demonstrated by his decision to send Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah to convey his gratitude.
